All Inclusive Cheap Getaways

Most people dream of getting away on vacation without breaking their piggy bank. Vacations are becoming easier to customize with package deals offered every season. All-inclusive options include food, most drinks and some activities with the price of your stay at select resorts. All-inclusive packages make it possible to enjoy your entire vacation without having to leave the resort at all.

Jamaica

  • Sick back and relax on the beautiful island of Jamaica at the Riu Ochos Rios hotel. The hotel offers all-inclusive services 24-hours a day. Included in the all-inclusive package within the resort are meals at seven restaurants, select drinks at six bars and nightly entertainment options. Select sports and activities are also included in the all-inclusive package. Water sports include kayaking, windsurfing and snorkeling and other activities are offered such as volleyball and tennis. Nightly entertainment features live music and dancing. There are daily activities offered for children ages four to 12. As of January 2011, the average price per person is $110 to $154 per day depending on the season.

Cancun, Mexico

  • The Aquamarina Beach Hotel in Cancun, Mexico, offers an inexpensive all-inclusive plan for guests of all ages. All-inclusive plans feature ocean-view rooms with a private balcony. All meals that are served in either two restaurants, the snacks served at the snack bar and domestic beverages served at all three bras are included in the plan. Sporting activities include miniature golf, kayaking, paddle-boats, snorkeling equipment, beach volleyball, beach soccer tournaments, water volleyball and water basketball. There are also classes offered in the fitness center including jazzercise, aerobics and aquarobics. Nightly entertainment is offered with the all-inclusive package including two live shows per week. As of January 2011, rates are $80 per person per night for a quadruple room, and up to $190 per person per night for a single occupancy room. Children six-years-old and under are free and there is a reduced rate offered for children ages seven to 12.

Vermont

  • The Tyler Place Family Resort has offered all-inclusive packages since 1933. The resort lies on 165 acres with a mile-long shore, gardens, open spaces, wooded areas and private spots with hammocks and Adirondack chairs for adults to relax. This resort focuses on family and provides a variety of activities for infants through age 15, adults and families. There is an indoor and outdoor pool with a splash area where kids and adults can play in the sprays, waterfalls and jets. Water activities at the lake include kayaking, fishing, pontoon boating, canoeing, lake trampolines, slides, and paddleboats. Use of the motorized equipment is available for an extra fee. When the weather isn't pleasurable, activities are held inside the field house. Guests can participate in activities such as a climbing wall, rope courses, fitness classes, basketball and volleyball. Six tennis courts, archery, skeet shooting, soccer, basketball and softball are offered outside when the weather is nice. Bikes are available for use during your stay and there are tours available for all levels of biking. The spa offers massages poolside and spa treatments for an additional charge. Arts and crafts including yoga, pottery and painting are offered. Meals are prepared using as many Vermont grown ingredients as possible and served family style. Picnic baskets are available and parent's night out dinners can be arranged any night during your stay. Rates as of January 2011 run $114 to $236 per person per adult and $61 to $109 per day per child.

Bahamas

  • Taking a trip to the Bahamas is relaxing and when you stay at Breezes Resort and Spa, you never have to leave the resort. Located off the coast of Florida, Nassau Bahama's Breezes resort offers an all-inclusive package for guests 14-years-old and older. The all-inclusive package, also known as a super-inclusive package includes your room, all meals, drinks, land and sea activities as well as nightly entertainment. There are 144 ocean-view rooms and other guest rooms have a view of either the pool or garden. The main dining room serves casual breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet style. The pool grill offers snack food throughout the day and the resort offers two restaurants, Martino's and Garden of Eden, where guests can dress up and dine together. Water sports offered include windsurfing, water skiing, kayaking and pool volleyball. Tennis courts, basketball, beach volleyball, golf and trails for jogging are available on dry land. The resort has three pools and a jacuzzi. There is a fitness center on site as well as a game room and casino. Special activities are offered throughout the day, so be sure to check the schedule when you arrive.
