Healthy Fun

The park also includes a playground and a multiuse shelter. North Park, a 45-acre park on the creek's northern banks near Interstate 820, is home to recreational amenities such as sports fields, basketball courts, a playground and an 18-hole disc golf course.

Picnic in the Park

  • Two smaller Haltom City parks along the north banks of Little Fossil Creek also provide recreation facilities and a nice spot where you can bring a packed lunch and enjoy the outdoors. Little Fossil Park is a 10-acre facility with picnic areas, a multiuse shelter, basketball and sand volleyball courts, a softball field and playground.
